Cabela's Retail, Inc is hiring 2 Part time Associates for our Showroom Retail Store in Gonzales, LA These positions will be for, but not limited to the following areas: Replenishment, Warehouse and Receiving . These positions are a critical link to our customers. This is an exciting opportunity for all outdoor enthusiasts.

These positions various duties include:

• Receives merchandise, enters it into the computer to ensure accurate tracking and prepares it for entry into the retail stock
• Sends merchandise to warehouse and retail locations and performs inventories to ensure accuracy
• Accurately prices product
• Operates a forklift, pallet jack, shrink wrapper, hand lift, clothing cart, steamer and hand held scanning equipment
• Performs other duties as assigned by management

Positions Require:

• Knowledge and work experience in warehouse and receiving areas
• Must have the ability to effectively communicate with customers and other business contacts in a courteous and professional manner
• Skill in operating various retail and office equipment such as: RF system, tagging machine, and computer terminal
• Requires some heavy lifting
• May require use of ladders and lift equipment
• Must have a high school diploma, or equivalent
• Must be able to work the following: at least 3 out of 4 weekends a month

MAINTENANCE

These positions various duties include:

• Maintains cleanliness and upkeep of building, equipment and grounds
• Performs general cleaning duties, including but not limited to: dusting, cleaning bathrooms and break rooms, vacuuming carpets, scrubbing and burnishing floors, sweeping sidewalks, cleaning windows, and picking up trash and emptying trash receptacles
• Performs other duties as assigned by management

Positions Require:

• Knowledge and experience with housekeeping and general maintenance principles
• Ability to pay close attention to detail regarding cleaning areas and methods
• Skill in the safe use of vacuum cleaner, electric scrubbing machine, and rug shampooing machine
• Skill in safe use of various hand and power tools
• Requires some heavy lifting
• May require use of ladders and lift equipment
• Must have a high school diploma, or equivalent
• Must be able to work the following: at least 3 out of 4 weekends a month; any day, including holidays; early morning, overnight, opening and closing shifts
• Perform other duties as assigned by management
