Cabela's, World's Foremost Outfitter of hunting and fishing gear, has an immediate opening for a Senior Manager of Business Integration to work at our corporate office in Sidney, NE.
The Sr. Manager of Business Integration leads the development and execution of optimal standard business processes through oversight of, reporting and compliance, and system administration functions within Merchandising and Merchandise Planning / Allocation and Replenishment (MPAR). The Sr. Manager collaborates closely with Strategic Planning, Business Excellence Group, Finance, MIS and his/her partners in MPAR to align strategies to drive continuous improvement resulting in maximizing gross profit dollars and inventory efficiency.
The Sr. Manager ensures MPAR data integrity for business systems. Assists in the preparation and execution of the strategic financial plans. Coordinates the planning process across multiple MPAR Directors. Assists VP of MPAR with Company level financial analysis and budgeting.
The Sr. Manager governs and directs all proposed changes to Merchandising and MPAR systems, metrics and standard reporting, corporate calendars, and hierarchy. The Sr. Manager acts as the primary business-user liaison with MIS and key software solution providers and helps guide configuration changes and system development roadmaps on behalf of Merchandising and MPAR. The Sr. Manager works in partnership with the Business Excellence Group in the development of all role-specific system, process, or role and responsibility.
ESSENTIAL ACTIVIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversees system administration for all Merchandising and MPAR systems. Acts as the primary business-user liaison with MIS and key software solution providers and helps guide configuration changes and system development roadmaps on behalf of Merchandising and MPAR.
- Actualizes Merchandise Plan updates at the Company level in accordance with VP of MPAR direction. Prepares and updates monthly forecast at the Company level,.
- Prepares the financial budget for in accordance with VP of MPAR direction. Works in partnership with MIS and accounting regularly to monitor and validate reconcile accounts such as software expenses and other high exposure areas.
- Develops Merchandising Calendars and ensures calendar discipline is maintained.
- Provides governance to proposed changes to standard reporting, metrics, roles & responsibilities, merchandise hierarchies or other related data structures, and other proposed system configuration changes.
- Ensures standardization in metrics and reporting for Merchandising and MPAR to provide consistency and clarity.
- Champions key corporate initiatives to improve systems, processes, and/or performance.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Knowledge of the functionality of key Merchandising and MPAR software solutions.
- Accounting or Finance Experience.
- Ability to act as conduit for best practices, encourage dissemination of new ideas and methodologies.
- Knowledge of reporting best practices and resources available to Cabela's.
- Ability to champion change and new initiatives by challenging the status quo and acting as catalyst of change.
- Ability to maintain clear focus on client needs and use that knowledge to build business strategies and plans.
- Demonstrated partnership and relationship building skills.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent plus 10 or more years experience.
